Lighspeed Panel Really Does Pay

I am posting this to show that I recently cashed out on 5/27 for $10, and now I am only 135 points away from cashing out again for another $10. You can even see where I slacked off for a while and then came back and cashed out. I even learned that this particular website's points will expire. I had to forfeit 150 points. So all in all, surveys will not make you rich, but it is extra pocket change.

Free Cookie from Subway

Everybody wins with this sweepstakes. As long as you are near a printer when you win, you win a free cookie. You do not need to purchase anything to win. Thanks to sweeties sweeps, I was able to find out about this great deal.

Have Your Heard Of The Purex 3 in 1?

How Does It Work?
Simply drop laundry sheet into washer, the detergent is released during the wash cycle. Once wash is complete, transfer the laundry sheet with clothes to dryer. The stripe is heat activated by the dryer to soften and remove static. It’s that simple.
Look for a $2 coupon in the Sunday, June 14th paper.

If the price is right, I know I am going to give it a try!

What's On Sale This Week

I just received this e-mail from Julie Parrish over at hotcouponworld.
This is from one of the best-she has been couponing and watching sales for a long time, you definitely want to read this:

"Brands to watch this week:

Soda - all brands including generics. The first round of summer soda sales should be kicking in this week. It seems the competition for big event sales like 4th of July and Labor Day means those sales start earlier and earlier each year. Soda tends to be the first thing that goes on sale, and it stays on the longest. So starting this week, you should be able to pick up soda for a decent price. For Memorial Day, the best price I got was $1.90 for a 12-pk of Coke branded cans. I expect it should be able to get into the $2 range for the 4th, so something to watch for.

Sun Screen - all brands. The first two weeks of June tends to be good for sunscreen deals. Banana Boat, Tropicana, and even store brands like WAGS should be priced well this week. I tend to stock up for the entire summer. A BOGO sale + coupons can get even the best brands down to just a few bucks a bottle. And with three kids, believe me, we go through a ton of it, so be sure to stock it while it's cheap. It typically has a 2-year shelf life (at least according to the label).

Falling prices this week:

Icecream - I think I tend to pay attention to icecream this time of year because of the whole birthday thing, but dairy in general is down so low right now, that loss leaders on icecream will be with us throughout the month of June. I've seen as low as $1.99 on the "half-gallons" of brands like Dreyers and Breyers, so definitely something to watch for.

More on the summer produce - corn, tomatoes and berries should all be great this week. If you're a home canner, it's time to stock up on strawberries for jams/jellies and syrups. They're at the peak of the season right about now, which means you're going to get the best price on them in the next week or so."

Do You Like the Sound of Free Chocolate??

Me too. I just received my free chocolate coupon in the mail, and I can't wait to use it. Every Friday from now until September, Mars is giving away a coupon for a free single bar of chocolate. As long as you are one of the first 250,000 people to go to their website and submit your request, they will send your coupon. I have even went to the website late in the day and I stil made the cut! You can win once a week up for four times per household. (You can even sign up for an e-mail reminder, if you think you will forget by Friday)

Don't Forget to Grab Your Sunday Paper!

If you wanted to get in the couponing game, this is a perfect time to start! This week they put 3 coupon inserts in the paper. Smart Source, Red Plum and the P&G (Proctor and Gamble)

I have also heard a rumor from the fellow couponers at hotcouponworld that Oust Sanitizer is on closeout at Kroger for $1.99. Pair that with your $2/1 coupon from the 5-10 Smart Source and it is yours free.

Someone has also reported back that Lysol Toilet Bowl cleaner is $1.49. We received a .50 cent coupon in today's insert. After the coupon (since Kroger will double the .50 cents coupon) it wil only be .50 cents.

I Have Been Given The Opportunity......

Pinecone Research which is a great survey panel, has offered me to refer members to their site. They pay you $3 for their surveys and when they send you surveys, you are qualified for them. Pinecone Research does not open their site often to new members, so this is a great oppurtunity to jump right in and start earning cash!

Attention Kroger Shoppers!!!

Kroger's has a new website where you can download coupons to your Kroger's card. Bringing Hope To The Table. This is a new site, and so far I am very impressed! After you download your coupons, they are ready 30 minutes later for you to use. Go Check it out!!!

Don't forget the other websites to download coupons to your card:

Cellfire
You do not need a cell phone to register. Many have been successful by registering their home phone number. They alsob have more money saving offers for businesses in your area. New coupons made available every 2 weeks! Look for updates on 5/19, 6/2, 6/13, 6/30, 7/14, 7/28, etc. You should wait at least 30 minutes for your coupons to load to your card.

Shortcuts They also offer meal deal coupons to register. So if you are unsure of what you are wanting to cook for dinner, this is a great way to come up with a meal on the "fly" and still save money at the same time. These coupons will become avaiblable 30 minutes after you download them.

P&G I would consider these coupons as more of your non-food items. You will find dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent and personal hygiene here. Once you download the coupons to your card, they will not become available until an hour later.

And if you have not already signed up for Upromise, I strongly recomend them! They will not knock anything off your grocery bill but each e-coupon that you download, accumulates into your account and allows you to save for you child's education!

Surveys

This is one way to earn money from the comfort of your home. People ask me all the time, how much do you make from doing your surveys. Like I tell them it depends on the survey. The more survey sites you join, the more money you make. So I will compile a list of all the legitimate survey websites I have joined and also how much money I have earned, to give you a visual of the potential earnings! The only thing that I ask is that you click through my referral link, so I can get credit for referring you! Referring also can become a big money maker, if you have a lot of people to refer, the companies will compensate you for referring others to the site. A win-win situation for everyone!!!!!!!

The African American Voice
They do not send many survey opportunities. But you can cash in the points you earn for doing surveys into cash.

Your2Cents

They do not offer a referral program at this time. You can only earn cash with this site. As of right now, they will send you a check. They send survey invitations often. Right now I have $24, and I have enough to request a check.

www.surveyspot.com
I have personally accumulated $85! You only need $5 to cash out!! They do not have a referral program at this time. Still a great company!

http://us.lightspeedpanel.com/register/join.html
They did have a referral program, they do not have one anymore. They still send you lots of e-mail invitations. I personally have 1,465 points with them, which is enough for a $10 paypal credit or (my personal favorite) $10 Applebee's gift card. There are also many other prizes to choose from! Be very careful as their points do expire, I had to find that out the hard way. I just had 150 expire and I did not know why, well now I do. Most of the sites that I am registered with their points do not expire. This particular site, their points expire after 2 years.

Search & Win

Swagbucks!
I personally am loving this site!Earn points just for searching. The only downside to this is that you do not receive points every time you search. But as long as you perform your normal searches they are a great suprise! With your swagbucks you can redeem different things like giftcards, electronics, and many other prizes are also available! Even when you refer-a-friend, everytime they win a swagbuck you do too!!(You can only win 100 swagbucks per friend) I think I have been signed up for about two months, I do not have any referrals, and I have 64 swagbucks, so I do have enough for a lot of their prizes. I think this is a very easy program to do. There are no surveys involved in this site. But they do have other ways you can earn swagbucks, but searching,is by far the easiest. You can click on the link above or on the banner that is on my blog to sign up for this site.

http://www.dollarsurveys.net/
This is a way to complete multiple surveys each day, as long as you qualify. For every survey you complete, you will earn $1. As long as you have a paypal account, you will receive credit, it normally takes a couple of days, but it will post to your account.

This is another survey site I have been a member of for awhile. You at least need 50 opinion points or $5 to cash out. They send you at least a couple of surveys per week.

Creations Rewards
This site is okay, I visit it occasionally. I have cashed out though, it just takes longer than other sites. You can earn points by doing daily trivia or daily website visits, so that is a plus. You can also take daily surveys to earn additional points. You only need 1,000 points for a $5 paypal cashout, and it does not take that long for you to cashout.

Opinionplace
This is another site I love. Not only do they send you surveys periodically, but you can also go to the site and take a survey for them every 7 days. They pay you through paypal, AAdvantage Miles, Aol Credits, Sweepstakes, or Amazon.com gift cards. You do not have to pick the same reward everytime. They usually pay pretty good.

Surveyhead
This is another survey site that allows you to cash out through paypal. Some people don't like this site because you are not able to cash out until you reach $25 and sometimes the surveys can be harder to qualify for. Anyhow, I did earn enough to cash out, and it did not take me that long. Go ahead and give it a try!

Treasure Trooper
I am new to this website, but I have heard great things about it. You earn cash for shopping, doing surveys and paid offers. Well when I hadn't visited their site in a week, they put $3.00 into my account, just for me to login. You have to reach $20 in order to cash out.

Harris Poll

I have also been with them for while. I have been saving my points to cash out for something good. You need at least 200 points to enter their sweepstakes and 800 to redeem prizes. They do not pay in cash, but they do have some really good gift cards available.

SayNation
This survey site can be for adults or teens. I have only been with them for a couple of months and I am almost ready to cash out. You are eligible to cash out at 12,000 points. They also offer a $25 paypal cashout.

YouData

I came across a site recently where they pay you to view ads that are relevant to you. All you need is to be able to receive one text message for the initial sign-up and have a paypal account. You also are paid from your referrals. You are paid $1.00 for everyone that signs up through you and .01 for every ad they click in for that week. Now I am not saying you will get rich but it is a way to earn a little something for taking just a couple of minutes out of your day. After you have viewed your ads for the week, they pay you via paypal every Friday. The only down-side to this program is that paypal takes out a few cents each time you are paid. And I do mean just a few, they have never taken more than .03 from each payment that I have received. I would love to refer you to this program, follow the link below to sign up:

A Great Website

For all of those who have established a stockpile, and walk in the kitchen, and walk right out not knowing what to cook, I have a website for you. It is a website that let's you put the ingredients you have on hand, and searches for recipes based on the ingredients already in your pantry! Recipe matcher has become my new best friend!

Example of a Freebie Using Coupons

Right now at Walmart, the Kotex pantyliners are $1.00. There is a coupon that came out this past Sunday that reads Save $1.00 On Any One package of Kotex pads. The package that is $1.00 is the smaller package, that only has about 16 liners in them, but the coupon does ready any. And if you are a hard core couponer, you will have more than one coupon, that way you can be stocked up on that particular item. That is what I consider an easy freebie at Wal-mart!!!!

Cellfire.com Has New Coupons To Download

Cellfire is the site where you can see exclusive offers in your area. Did you know that these coupons can be downloaded to your store card? In the Houston/Louisiana area I know Kroger's and Randalls participates in the program. These e-coupons be used in conjunction with your manufacturer's coupons. That really sweetens the deal!

Register your card and download your e-coupons today!

Couponing Basics

Thanks to everybody who has taken the time out of their busy schedules, to critique by blog!!
By popular requests I have been asked to put some information up for the people just getting their feet wet with couponing.
First off everything I have learned, for the most part is from www.hotcouponworld.com. They do have other sites out there, but this is by far the best one yet!!!
Now with that being said, I know everybody does not have time for "extreme" couponing, which is understandable, I am limited on time myself. (Don't worry if you are unfamiliar with the coupon terminology, you will catch on.)

The very first rule to "extreme couponing" is you cannot be brand savvy. Meaning if you like Gain, and that is the only washing powder that you use and you cannot not use anything else because you love it and it is in your price range; but on the other hand Biz is on sale this week for $2.50. Now the smallest package of Gain is $4.99, (and being the true couponer that I know you will be) you have a $2.00 off coupon for the Biz, which will make the Biz .50 cents, which one do you purchase? Now a true couponer will have 10-20 of the Biz coupons, if not more, that way they are in control and paying what they want to pay for washing powder and not what the stores want you to pay.

Which brings us to Rule #2: Get as many copies of the inserts as you possibly can. Whether it is from purchasing multiple papers on Sunday, or collecting from friends and neighbors, or buying the left-over papers from the stores near you at a discounted price or plain 'ole dumpster diving! Yep that is right, not as gross as it sounds, just basically going to your local recycling bin and checking the paper/magazine bin, for the inserts left behind by non-couponers.

So far all those newbies: First start collecting your coupons and wait for the sales!! You will be surprised at how much money you can save, and sometimes you may even get the product for free with the right coupon and the right sale!!!!!!!!
